University Advocacy Efforts
University leadership continues to voice concerns to state leaders, including advocating on behalf of faculty and staff about the state's claim payment delay, progress on dental claims, and opposing the state's suggestion that it may collect premiums retroactively. These advocacy efforts will continue.
How Can I Help?
If you would like to voice your concerns, you can contact the Governor’s office and your local legislators. Visit Illinois Connection at www.illinoisconnection.org, and select Contact Your Legislators. Customize the text of a pre-populated letter with your thoughts on health care.
