When a user submits a Request Access transaction, the request goes to the Group Inbox of the employee's home unit. Follow these steps to process a Request Access transaction received in the Group Inbox:
- Locate the transaction in the Group Inbox, and click once on that row to select it.
- Click the Take Ownership button.
- Click once on the transaction to select it, and then click Select.
- You can use the Go to ERV button to view the Employee Record View before deciding whether to grant the request. To return to the request, click Approve Request Access.
- Choose Yes or No to approve or deny the request.
- Type desired comments in the Comments field.
- Click Submit.
Once the home unit submits the transaction it appears in the My Inbox of the person who initiated the request.
