A Principal Administrative Position Exemption (PAPE) is required for Academic Professionals whose positions meet specialized administrative, professional, or technical needs such as those indicated in the following categories:
By State law, Academic Professional positions must be individually exempted from Civil Service status by the State Universities Civil Service System (SUCSS). In order to obtain this exemption, a PAPE Form must be submitted to the Human Resources office.
